“Megawatts on the date promised. That is the entire job.”
Founder & Chief Executive OfficerBuilding the firm around dispatchable power
Alexandra Pohl is the Founder & CEO of Alzaro Energy. She built the firm around a simple thesis: America's growth economy — data centers, reshored manufacturing, electrified transportation — will be gated by dispatchable power. Alzaro assembles operator-led teams to underwrite, develop, and own the assets that clear that gate.
Prior to founding Alzaro, she structured multi-billion-dollar energy vehicles and led project delivery across generation, transmission, and grid technology. Her career has centered on the unglamorous disciplines that decide energy outcomes — permitting, interconnection, offtake, and delivery.
She holds board seats on several Alzaro platform companies and serves as chair of the firm's Investment Committee.
Operating philosophy
- “Power is the new bottleneck of the American economy. Build accordingly.”
- “Energy projects die in permitting, not in engineering. Staff for the boring parts.”
- “Megawatts on the date promised. That is the entire job.”
Disciplined capital allocation
Every deployment is governed by the Alzaro Investment Committee, chaired by the Founder & CEO. The committee is being expanded with senior operating and investment principals; additional members will be announced as the platform scales.
